Suggested Kit List
The Big Hoof endorses a BYOB policy!
Bring Your Own..
Beliefs: The Big Hoof supports the British Pilgrimage Trust’s ethos that:
Pilgrimage is a pathway for practices that elevate the experience of moving through a landscape to one that is also an inner journey. The British Pilgrimage Trust believes that such a journey should be made on an individual’s own terms, requiring no set beliefs. It is a pathway that should be open, accessible, and welcoming to all.
Bags: The Big Hoof can suggest kit (see below) and also groups that can support with upcycled and second-hand alternatives to buying new; however, each individual is responsible for their own kit requirements. Are you missing something essential and borrowing/buying is not an option? Let us know - we might be able to help.
Brews: We will suggest stops for refreshments and water; however, depending on the duration of your participation, you should pack your bag with sufficient food, snacks, water, and flasks of tea for one day in the hills!
