In 2023, The Big Hoof organised the first ever FareWays journey. We walked, ran, rode and cycled along St Columba’s Way. Some joined us for a morning, a day, or for as long as they could whilst making our way from St Andrews to Iona.

How?
The ride across Scotland saw over 40 participants from all walks of life, ages ranging from 8-69 years old. We encouraged walkers, riders and cyclists to come along.
Together with the horses, long distance runners and walkers, we raised over 5000 pounds Venture Trust, a Scottish mental health charity that provides outdoor therapy sessions for 16-25 year olds and ex-service personnel. The journey was wild, beautiful and connecting. Over 40 people joined, ages ranging from 8-69 years old and participants of Venture Trust joined us too.
